ILDEBERTO CORREIA (TRUDO) 1942 - 2002 After a courageous battle with cancer, peacefully with his family by his side Ildeberto passed away at the age of 59. Ildeberto leaves to mourn his passing, mother Amelia; sisters, Etelvina, Conceicao and Maria do Carmo; brothers-in-law, Caetano, Fernando, Davido and Albano; seven nieces; 13 nephews and many great-nieces and nephews and even great-great-nieces. He also leaves close friend Rosa; step-daughter Kim; his godmother Maria do Carmo; and cousins. Ildeberto was born in Sao Miguel, Acores on October 13, 1942. He immigrated to Canada in 1975, and worked five years for Versatile. He was employed with Borland Construction Ltd., where he made many friends and became known as (Trudo). The family would like to thank the staff at the Riverview Health Centre for all the care they provided. Also thank you to Octavio, Augustim and Alvaro for being good friends to Ildeberto. Prayers will be held on Friday, September 20 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St., with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H., V.F. officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Ildebertos memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
